a special update on the 2026  season

For the 2026 season, we will not be accepting new orders. Instead, we will focus on filling orders on the waitlist. Unless we get an over-hatch, no new orders will be filled this year.

​Please email us for the breeds you are interested in and we will let you know if we get an over-hatch. 

You have to order within season as we cannot guarantee specific hatch dates since we cannot guarantee the hatch rate and laying rate of each of our hens. However, the Backyarder Rainbow Collection female chicks usually have a quicker turnaround time than the custom orders, and for the Meatballs, you can choose the month you would like to receive the birds.

We operate on a first come, first served basis. Thank you.

If we have not communicated with you prior to your order form and you have an important question or request relating to your order, please send us an email first, instead of writing it down the comments part of the order form so we are certain not to miss it.  We use the order form to keep track of the breeds you ordered plus the shipping contact information and might miss some of your important questions or requests if we did not discuss it first via email.  If you have an urgent or important query, sending us an email is the best way for us to read and properly address them before you submit your order form.  Our email address is [email protected].  Thank you.
